Micro Carbon Technology™
Smaller Molecules = Better Absorption

Micro-carbon fertilizerHuma Gro® was created in 1973 by scientists who discovered a material that improved the ways in which plants absorb nutrients from the soil. Obviously, such an innovation would have huge benefits for farming and agronomy in general: if a plant’s root system could be made more efficient, it meant the plant could thrive with less water and fertilizer inputs.

Advanced Micro Carbon Technology™

The “secret” to Huma Gro® products is Leonardite, a rare humate (soft or oxidized coal) material. Humates are naturally occurring, nutrient-rich derivatives of decomposed plant matter in soils. The highly oxidized Leonardite displayed unique characteristics and properties when applied to farm fields, by improving both the soil’s fertility and the plants’ nutrient uptake.

Proprietary Extraction Process

Huma Gro® products rely on a well-established, time-tested extraction process to get useful organic acids, complex carbons, soluble minerals and other beneficial components from the Leonardite. Over the years, scientists and researchers at Bio Huma Netics (BHN) have developed myriad ways in which the base materials found in the leonardite can biologically improve soils, plants and even treat wastewater.

By adapting and refining that technology, BHN is now able to offer over 70 successful products for a variety of important uses. Those include Huma Gro® biological soil activators and foliar nutrients to boost agricultural production and turf growth; PROBIOTIC SOLUTIONS bio-stimulants, and nutrients for the wastewater management and environmental markets; and other exciting innovations.

Our exclusive biotechnology also enables BHN to create organic products that are more environmentally friendly, easier to handle and more flexible in their application.
